Returns 2009: All returns must be with us by 31st October. You can delivery them to the Beauly Centre but they need to be in the box by October 23rd (that is this Friday) otherwise you’ll be too late. Alternatively you can give them to John Szarkiewicz (or post them through the door at 18 Croyard Drive, Beauly, IV4 7EE) or give them to any other Committee Member.

We need returns from everyone – even those who did not catch anything - and whatever kind of membership you have - Junior/ OAP etc. Last year virtually everyone had their returns in on time and we are hoping for a repeat this year. As you will recall we now operate a system where anyone not getting their returns in on time will forfeit their membership and will need to reapply via the waiting list.

AGM : The AGM will take place on Wednesday 9th December. This year it will be at 7.30pm in The British Legion. Anyone wanting to raise anything at the AGM should let us have note of this by the end of November.

Competitions : The Club competitions took place at Achagour Fish Ponds, Nairn. The winner of the Senior Competition was John Szarkiewicz with a 3lb plus fish. The winner of the Junior Competition was Simon Fraser. Our thanks to Syd Pennington who paid the £90 for the transport for the Juniors, to Helen Fraser for the £20.00 worth of crisps, sweets and pop and to all those who donated prizes.

Apologies : To all our Junior members – we had intended to run a second Junior fishing outing this year but events conspired against us. However during the 2010 Season we will be running two junior fishing events – one early in the season and one in the summer.
