The Start of the Junior Fishing Season in June means that some of the weed at Orrin Lochs has to be taken out.
Plus a lot of the shrub and brush at the water’s edge needs removing as well so that the Juniors can access other areas of the Loch to practice their casting and spinning.
Many thanks to the team for turning out on quite a pleasant morning to assist with casting out the weed-cutting saw with Yorky’s boat. We had Iain and Charlie in the boat throwing out the saw and lines, Keith and Toby winding in the cables and the cut weed caught in the saw blades, Karl cutting back the shrub and brush at the edges with Michael and Yorky heaving out all the cut trees and weeds generated.
