BAC Senior Competition – The Club will be organising up to 3 competitions this year.
BAC Junior Competition – A 2023 Competition will take place at the beginning of the season,

2022 Season Competitions:
The Tom Mightens Cup won by Mike McDonald with a 2lb 4oz Sea Trout
The Matheson Cup won by Charlie Simpson with a 8lb 8oz fish
BAC Senior Competition – 29th July at Geddes Trout Fishery, Nairn beginning at 6pm. The Senior Shield was won by Jim Braithwaite with a 3lb 3.5oz fish.

Loch Watten – 24th May. 25 fish were caught on the day with the biggest bag of 4 fish at 5lb 5oz caught by George Eccleston and the biggest fish of 2lb 4.5oz caught by Neil Drummond.
Loch Meig – the Beauly Angling Club team managed 3rd place in the competition.

2021 Season Competitions:
The BAC Senior Fishing Competition was held at Tarvie Lochs on the 29th July, Thursday 6pm. 5 boats are in use but few fish were caught. The shield was awarded to Jim Braithwaite for the heaviest trout at 2lb 1oz. Jim also caught a nice Brown Trout.
Loch Watten trout competition. Was held Saturday 22nd May. Neil had 5 boats booked and filled.

The Club both hold and attend a number of competitions and events throughout the year:
Senior Competition – Loch Meig on the 2nd June. Cost for hire of Loch Meig is £50 to Loch Achonachie AC and it is £15 per Rod/payable to Neil Mackenzie
Loch Achonachie fishing competition at Loch Meig is now 26th May.

2017 Competitions:
27th May Storr Lochs Skye, trout comp. by Dingwall AC. Places limited
3rd June, BAC only senior trout competition.
This year for a change we have 5/6 boats on Loch Meig, 3 to a boat with 2 fishing at any one time, in rotation.
29th July Loch Watten trout competition. Limited availability
Run by BAC, this trout inter club competition has proved very popular the last 2 years, superb
trout at a top water. The day includes a supper stop at The Trawler, Golspie, on the way home.
13th August. Members Day
The club has booked the hut facilities on the middle Beauly courtesy of the owner and Hugh
Matheson the Ghillie. Further details nearer the time but the event will include a bar B Q,
other refreshments, casting and equipment advice. Partners and youngsters welcome, a chance
to meet and natter to fellow members.
9th September Badenlochs trout competition.
Traditional closing comp. run by Loch Achonachie AC. Includes coach travel and a supper
from the renowned La Mirage restaurant, Helmsdale.
3rd June, BAC only senior trout competition.
