Entry for all competitions must be made by contacting Neil Mackenzie (782 991), and with limited places early booking is recommended.

 

Pike competition at Loch Fada Sat. 25th April 10 am – 3.pm, All legitimate methods allowed, bait, fly, spinner, worm, float tubes (special dispensation for this event only). All trout caught must be returned.

Anglers are encouraged to remove all Pike under 12lb but return bigger specimens having recorded and witnessed weight.

Largest pike wins.

 

Senior Trout Competion

This season’s competion will take place at Achagour fishery on the evening of Thur. 25th June. Meet in Beauly square at 5.00pm. A minimum of 12 entries required for minibus to be booked, otherwise cars will be organized.

 

Junior Trout Competition

Sat. 4th July at Orrin Fishery, meet Beauly square at 9 am. Each competitor is guaranteed to catch at least 1 fish otherwise coaching seniors will have to buy them some chocolate.

 

Loch Meig competition (boat only) run by Achonachie Angling Club is on May 2nd. BAC to put in 2 boat teams of three. applicants must contact Neil Mackenzie.

 

 

Permit Changes.

 

The catch limit on the rear page of the Annual Fishing Return (page 12) is to be ignored and is superseded by the amended rule 14 (page 4)

 

Note 4 (page 1) BAC is no longer a member of SANA.

 

Club Assets

 

BAC is in possession of a number of assets. Chain Saw, Boat Engine, Strimmer, Junior Fly Fishing Tackle. Safety Glasses.
